By adopting new energy sources to replace traditional energy sources and technological reforms, we have fulfilled our social responsibility for energy conservation and consumption reduction and achieved green transformation.

  • Attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26
  • We displayed our low-carbon work plan of Zero Carbonization Path for Steam Use in High-purity Crystalline Silicon Production Process at COP26. Through fuel substitution, energy saving and efficiency, and renewable energy power use, we reduced carbon emissions from steam use in polysilicon production, providing best practices for the industry and highlighting the low-carbon leadership of Chinese enterprises.

  • We efficiently integrate resources, realize industrial linkage, give full play to the advantages of intensive land use, clean production, and low energy carbonization, and actively build a green "Fishery & PV Integration" modern industrial park and national green factories, implement green operations and build a green manufacturing system.
    "Fishery & PV Integration" Modern Industrial Park
    Tongwei organically integrates photovoltaic power generation with modern fisheries and initiates the "Fishery & PV Integration" development model, where power generates on the top and fish swim on the bottom. Tongwei has innovated the integration of the three industries to create a "three new" modern industrial park integrating new fisheries, new energy, and new countryside, and truly realized the efficient and coordinated development of fishery and PV. The landing of the Fishery & PV Integration project can optimize the local energy structure, promote carbon dioxide emission reduction and green and low-carbon development, and help achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality."
    In December 2021, the 100MW "Fishery & PV Integration" project in Zhaoyuan County, Daqing, Heilongjiang province, was successfully connected to the grid to generate electricity. The project is expected to generate 145 million kWh of electricity annually. The total power generation in 25 years is expected to be 3.5 billion kWh, saving a total of 1.2 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 3.62 million tons.
    National Green Factory
    Tongwei practices the sustainable development concept of eco-friendly, actively uses clean power, builds a garden-style green factory, effectively realizes product energy conservation and carbon reduction, and minimizes resource and environmental consumption. Six subsidiaries of Tongwei, namely TW Solar (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., TW Solar (Hefei) Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Tongwei High-Purity Crystalline Silicon Co., Ltd., Sichuan Yongxiang Polysilicon Co., Ltd., Sichuan Yongxiang New Energy Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Yongxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. have all obtained national green factory certification.
    Sichuan Yongxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. has implemented various energy-saving and consumption-reduction technological transformation projects with the goal of industrial solid waste treatment and carbon dioxide emission reduction and has achieved remarkable results. In 2021, Yongxiang New Materials treated 300,000 tons of industrial solid waste, reduced carbon emissions by 120,000 tons and pollutants by 297 tons, and achieved the goal of green and clean production.
